The Department of Neurosurgery at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin offers the full spectrum of neurosurgical elective and emergency care. The top team at the Department of Neurosurgery is characterized by expertise and experience gained from over 6,000 operations a year. The Department of Neurosurgery at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin is located at the Charité campuses: Campus Charité Mitte, Campus Benjamin Franklin and Campus Virchow Klinikum. At the Mitte and Steglitz campuses, several outpatient consultation hours are offered daily in the neurosurgical university outpatient clinic. Consultations on neurosurgical clinical pictures take place here in special consultation hours.

Role in Metastra

We at the Department of Neurosurgery are involved in the METASTRA project in the development of image data and the provision of clinical cases. The patients included for the development of the targets have been seen and treated at our clinic. In the further course of the project, we help to compile a collection of image data and see the patients in our clinic in the prospective part of the project. Finally, we help to test and elaborate the guidelines developed in the project.
